Built in 1891, Red Bud Manor is a Victorian Bed and Breakfast designed with relaxing in mind &#8212;in an English country motif reflective of plantation homes.<\/p>\n<p>Walking through the front door you are immediately struck by the dramatic keyhole archway between the parlor and formal dining room. Plush upholstered furniture combined with European antiques and rich wood floors lend an air of understated elegance to the rooms.<\/p>\n<p>Each morning a sumptuous full breakfast is served in the parlor furnished with a Chippendale table appointed with antique crystal and Blue Willow china. A colorful businesswoman, she was famous for her rapid fire clear-cutting and homesteading tactics. According to the St. Louis Republican on September 11, 1879, \u201ca large part of Eureka Springs (the newly platted town) was held in claims belonging to Benjamin Woodruff, William Evans and the well-known Franciska Massman who owned and operated a sawmill further down Leatherwood Creek\u201d.
