How can I get there, and what to do there?

A lot of time people can see the Google virtual tour from a business’ Google+ page, or google map’s search result, or from the proprietary business site itself.

One cool way to access the Google virtual tour is by exploring the Google Maps itself. Here I have my map on top of Austin. From here, you can see the Toy Joy building as one tiny piece below.

Get closer. Now you can drag the tiny orange human icon on the left…

… and locate it right on the orange dot above the Toy Joy building. A thumbnail of the interior panorama will reveal, and as you let the icon go, you will be taken into the interior!

Or you can come in from the Google Street View. The powerful Google Street View feature was added to the Google Maps in May 2007. It allows you to roam around the town as if you are physically driving down the road. This feature transforms online map navigation experience by allowing users to observe the desired location in a visually realistic way.

Let’s say you are checking some street views near the downtown Austin. Conveniently, you use your mouse clicks to stroll through its streets.

Then you see this interesting store, and it may raise your curiosity. But Google Street View only allows you to see it from afar … until now. The Google Business View program now provides access for users to get closer to business establishment like never before.

See the double arrow button, it can lead you to …

… the front door of the store, with its door open and inviting for you to come in!

Follow the arrow, and suddenly you place yourself inside.

Please see around the place. Doesn’t it make you want to check out the real space so bad?

Go around the store. Use the 360ยบ capability to observe things around you in any direction.

You can also zoom in a particular area. What is that text on white card there on the right?

… go and zoom it closer…

… now I can read! Don’t you want to know what is playing in the house?

Continue strolling around the store…

What a fascinating place!

So many cool toys!

I want that!

… and this!

… and this too!

Well, you can’t pick the goods. But you know you can always go there!

Some common effects of getting a dose of Google virtual tour:

  • I know that a toy store called Toy Joy place exists, and that it is interesting.
  • I will check it out one day. The inside is so chic!
  • I can tell others who needs toys, there is a cool toy store called Toy Joy.
  • I feel good and trusted about the business. They have confidence in their business and not afraid of being exposed. Something a dishonest business wouldn’t typically do.
  • I got a good idea of what this place sells and don’t sell.

What are you and your business waiting for?
